He explained that cooperation among individuals with common objective usually gives rise to unity, while unity is essential for success in any organisation or sphere of life.
In his words, “When we are alone, we can only do little, but when we are together, we can achieve a lot and even beyond our expected goals and objectives”.
The Commissioner implored participants to work together and embrace the spirit of oneness to achieve set goals while also advising them to remain dedicated, committed and diligent in their respective duties and responsibilities.
The Facilitator at the retreat, Adeyinka Adefope advised the staff to engage in daily assessment of their activities and results to raise the level of their performance.
Adefope appealed to the participants to be open to new ways of doing things, unlearn obsolete ways and relearn good strategies, noting that an illiterate is not one who lacks the ability to read and write, but one who is unwilling to learn.
