Lagos State Civil Service Commission has fixed its 2018 Management and Senior Staff retreat with the theme: “Repositioning the Civil Service Commission Towards Attaining A Smart City Status” for November 29th -30th, 2018 at PSSDC, Magodo, Ikeja.
The Chairman, Lagos State Civil Service Commission – Mrs. Adeyinka Taiwo Oyemade in a press Statement issued from her office stated that the aim of the retreat is to provide a platform for capacity building that will engender optimal performance in service delivery by public officers.
Mrs. Oyemade disclosed further that the retreat is coming up at a significant time that the Commission wants to go digital and will provide the opportunity to chart a common course towards digitalisation of the Commission’s business process.
She said papers will be presented by different facilitators on topics such as “Strategic planning for 2019” and “Inter-departmental Cooperation as Panacea to prompt directives implementation.”
According to Oyemade, the retreat will bring to the fore the importance of synergy in good service delivery and uphold the Commission’s core values.
She advised participants to listen attentively to the resource persons who will present the topics expected to generate new thinking amongst participants, generate the culture of harmonious work relationship and propel unified growth within all sections of the Lagos State workforce.
