The Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Office/Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Kemi Durosinmi-Etti has urged staff to support Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s agenda for A Greater Lagos.
Mrs. Durosinmi-Etti, who spoke while addressing the management and staff of the Cabinet Office, said the support was needed not just for the benefit of Lagosians but for every resident including those in the State Public Service.
She noted the pivotal role the Cabinet Office plays as the leading treasury of all Executive Council decisions as well as a vehicle for the efficient recording and dissemination of government decisions to promote justice, peace and social development.
The Permanent Secretary charged the management and staff to be more conscientious and diligent in the discharge of their duties in order to transform the vision of the government into a reality that will ensure the State remains the Centre of Excellence.
Durosinmi-Etti affirmed that hard work pays and expressed confidence in the staff saying, “I am convinced from what I have seen since assumption of office; we will support our Governor more than we have ever done for resounding success. We must be committed to teamwork and also come up with ideas that will take this Office to greater heights”.
Earlier, the Director, Administration and Human Resources, Mrs. Bolaji Dasouza-Olowofela, on behalf of the Secretary to the State Government, welcomed the new Permanent Secretary.
She expressed confidence in the Permanent Secretary’s ability to steer the affairs of the Cabinet Office and urged all staff to support her to surpass the expectations of her new assignment.
