She maintained that capability and a fireman’s intellect play a great role in fire fighting activities, appreciating the State Government for appointing her the Head of an agency in a male-dominated profession.
While appreciating the organisers at the event held at Oriental Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos, she said “I’m only following the footsteps of my predecessors who did not let the profession down by making Firefighters proud through their various activities, while at the same time keeping the Lagos Flag flying in the effective management of fire incidents”.
Earlier, the Director, 9JA Safe Award Organisation, Alhaji Lateef Alebiosu congratulated Adeseye and noted that with the award, she joined the League of Fire Service Directors who received the award based on hard work and achievements in firefighting activities.
