LASPPPA SET FOR STAKEHOLDERS’ FORUM

In line with its statutory responsibility of conducting stakeholder consultations, enlightenment and publicity, Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) in collaboration with Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning And Urban Development and its Agencies, is set to hold Stakeholders’ Interactive Session in Amuwo Odofin Local Government and Oriade Local Council Development Area of the State.

According to the General Manager, LASPPPA, Tpl Funmi Osifuye, the highly interactive and educative meeting is slated for Friday, March 23, 2018, at World Class Event Centre in Amuwo.

He disclosed that the interactive session themed, ‘Creating Functional Communities Through Effective Physical Planning’, is to keep the people of Amuwo Odofin abreast of the policies and programmes of Lagos State Government particularly activities of Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development and its agencies, as they affect Amuwo Odofin area of the State.

Osifuye added that feedback will also be obtained from the residents for use as data input for the formulation of future area-specific policies in line with the all-inclusive objectives of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s administration.

Expected at the stakeholders gathering are the Chairmen of Amuwo Odofin Local Government and Oriade Local Council Development Area, Royal Fathers and titled Chiefs in the area, Professional Bodies, Non- Governmental Organizations, Artisans and Traders as well as the general public.
