LAGOS CIVIL SERVANTS URGED TO MAKE REGULAR EXERCISE A HABIT

14/7/2014

The Permanent Secretary, Office of the Lagos State Chief of Staff, Mr. Sewedo Oluseyi Whenu, has charged civil servants in the State to engage in regular exercise in order to keep fit and stay alert.

Whenu stated this today at the quarterly walk for fitness organized for staff of the Office at the Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.

According to him, regular exercise can boost the body hormone and keep blood flowing steadily to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, adding that exercise also helps to prevent a wide range of other health problems or concerns from occurring.

While maintaining that daily exercise will contribute to workers’ productivity, Whenu appealed to all staff to avail themselves the opportunity of the exercise, adding that the fitness walk will be sustained.
