LWC RESUMES WATER PRODUCTION AFTER TEMPORARY DISRUPTION

Lagos Water Corporation, LWC, has resumed water production and supply across the State, following the recent temporary disruption of water supply due to the national power outage.

According to a statement issued at the weekend by the Corporation’s Managing Director/CEO, Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus, the LWC has fulfilled her promise to Lagosians by ensuring the connection to alternative power supply to meet the expectations of Lagosians for uninterrupted potable water supply.

Engr. Badmus thanked the general public for their support and cooperation, urging them to pay their bills when due to enable the Corporation to sustain and further develop infrastructure that will improve water supply and distribution across Lagos State.

Recall that the Corporation had earlier attributed the recent Water disruption in the State to the National power outage as a result of fire outbreak at a Gas Pipeline system which interrupted Gas supply and adversely affected Water production at the LWC major Waterworks.
