Lagos Traffic Radio (96.1FM) has scheduled its maiden Management Staff Retreat for December 6, 2018, to evaluate the outgoing year as well as set an agenda for the organisation in the year 2019.
The Acting General Manager, Mr. Tayo Akanle said the retreat will further invigorate staff of the foremost traffic radio station in the quest to broaden its reach and attract more listeners through adequate, regular and timely traffic updates that will guide motorists and other road users on a daily basis.
According to Akanle, the theme of the event ‘Reinvigorating the Brand in a Competitive Market’ has been carefully chosen to provide opportunities for Management to assess its performance and fashion out new trends.
In his words, “The retreat will also discuss and agree on action plans to improve on the Business/Service Performance, build effective teams with organisational change initiatives for synergy around future directions as well as re-energise and refocus the management team to mobilise the organisation”.
Qualified resource persons including a former Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Civil Service, Mr. Lekan Ogunbanwo; the CEO Webloft Concepts, Olugbenga Etti-Williams; Safety Expert, Fayo Williams among others are expected to discuss various topics which include: ‘Effect of Social Media on Radio Stations’, ‘Modern Broadcasting: Programming and News Perspective’ as well as ‘Team and Leadership Skills among Ministries’.
The Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan will declare the three-day retreat open at East Gate Hotel, Lekki – Lagos.
