(LASURA), has developed a plan for the redevelopment of slum areas in

arrangement where private investors come in with the funds and
government provides the land. The private sector partners will also
supervise in order to ensure the projects meet acceptable standards.
said the Ikorodu community, one of the five divisions in Lagos State,
has a lot of potentials powered by an active social life, adding that
the current noticeable changes and development in Ikorodu area is a result of the commitment of the present administration to boost the economic fortunes of the town.
