Declaring the retreat open, the General Manager, Lagos State Public Procurement Agency Mr. Idowu Onafowote said the Agency remains committed to moving the State forward with realistic public procurement processes and practices, hence the need to strategise to achieve its vision and mission.

He said there is need to create an effective linkage that transcends situational and temporary changes in all aspects of the Agency’s operations, thereby enjoining all management staff to put in more efforts to improve at their jobs.

“I want you to bear in mind that most of the activities that have to do with goods, works and services of MDAs pass through the Agency; in view of this we need to work hard and deliver to expectations”, Onafowote noted.
