The newly appointed Lagos State Commissioner for Ministry of Home Affairs, Mrs. Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf has revealed that the Ministry is set for optimum service delivery to all residents of the State.
Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf disclosed this during a short reception held to welcome her to the Ministry shortly after being sworn-in by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The Commissioner enjoined all members of staff to support her quest to take the Ministry to greater heights by rendering quality service to residents of Lagos and humanity.
Akinbile-Yussuf further charged all staff to rededicate themselves to duty while promising that “it will be a good time for all”.
Earlier in her welcome address, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Adebunmi Adekanye expressed the Ministry’s joy on the appointment of Mrs. Akinbile-Yussuf as the new Commissioner and affirmed the unwavering support of members of staff.
Adekanye explained that the Ministry has through its services provided and fostered religious harmony through the promotion of peace and the mitigation of crisis in the State.
Mrs. Akinbile-Yussuf, a pharmacist and renowned grassroots politician previously served as Commissioner in the Ministries of Youth and Social Development as well as Wealth Creation and Employment respectively between 2015 and 2019.
