As part of vision and aspiration of the present Lagos State Administration T.H.E.M.E agenda, Traffic Radio has gone into partnership with the Lagos Bus Service Limited LBSL toprovide more solution to traffic issues within the state.
The LBSL Chief Executive Officer Idowu Oguntona led some members of his management team on a courtesy visit to the station in order to seal the partnership. He gave his purpose of visit with his team was to foster closer relationship with the station in respect to traffic.
According to Oguntona , through the Station, the LBSL will engage and inform residents on their operations and also to get feedbacks for better services to enable free flow traffic
A member of his team Adetoun Gaji who is the Head Corporate Service of LBSL gave a brief profile about the agency stating that it started operation May 1ST 2019 with 50(fifty) buses and currently owns a fleet of 150 (one hundred and fifty) buses plying seven major routes, adding that since inception over six million Lagosians have enjoyed its services and also operate a cashless service with their flagship depot at ilupeju . She appreciates the Station for being supportive, especially when it was operating as LAGBUS, adding that the partnership with the radio station will strengthen their relationship.
On his part, General Manager of Lagos Traffic Radio, TayoAkanle, said the station is ready to partner with any organizationthat is ready to create impactful Programmes.
Akanle, is of the opinion that such partnership will further promote positivity as it will help push the present administration’s commitment to traffic Management and transportation.
He commended the initiative as a great move to cement the relationship, adding that the station has gained so much listeners through all its social media platforms.
