NEIGHBOURHOOD SAFETY BOSS PLEDGES BETTER SECURITY FOR LAGOS

The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, Prince (Dr.) Ifalade Oyekan has again assured residents of improved security across the State, especially during the Yuletide season. He said this while receiving the Award for the Head of Agency, with the most visible strides in internal security.

The award was conferred on him by the organisers of the Prime Excellent Recognition Awards (PERA), through the Chairman of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Princess Olabisi Adebajo at an event held on Sunday at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.

According to Adebajo: “The LNSA has recorded a number of ‘firsts’ since the appointment of Oyekan and the Award is PERA’s way of motivating him to continue in the giant strides at the Agency”.

Receiving the award, Prince Oyekan said the recognition is an indication that the People appreciate the efforts of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu through the LNSA at ensuring the safety and security of lives and properties of residents in the State.

Ifalade confirmed that the sixth pillar of the T.H.E.M.E.S development agenda of Mr. Governor places emphasis on making sure that Lagos is safer and more secure for the people in order to attract more investment opportunities from across the globe to the state.

The General Manager also expressed confidence that there are better days ahead for Lagos residents in the area of security, stressing that the Agency is fully prepared to deliver professional services to Lagosians through the recently approved Units.
