
SPECIAL ADVISER FOR MINERAL RESOURCES ASSUMES DUTY

The newly sworn-in Special Adviser to the Governor on Mineral Resources, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Engr. Abiola Okanlawon Moshood Olowu officially assumed duties at the Ministry on Monday.
In his address to the Management and Staff of the Ministry, Engr. Moshood affirmed his readiness to start work immediately, stating that everyone needs to work together as a team to key into the agenda of the Sanwo-Olu Administration.
He emphasised that the Power sector, among others, is about to witness a new era of development, saying “We all need to spot new developments and be in compliance with the 21st-century megacity plan, which is the main priority of the Governor’’.
The Special Adviser, however, solicited the cooperation of the staff towards achieving the agenda of the present administration for the sector.
Earlier, while welcoming the Special Adviser to the Ministry, the Permanent Secretary, Ms. Sholabomi Mosunmola Shasore said the workforce is glad to have him and pledged the full cooperation and support of the entire staff in ensuring that the mandate of the ministry is achieved.
