The General Manager of Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency (LASURA), Tpl. Ajibike Shomade, alongside members of the management team, has inspected 13 roads earmarked for regeneration in Somolu LGA.
Speaking during the tour, the General Manager disclosed that Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved commencement of the project, adding that the regeneration and redevelopment plan of the roads will start before the end of the year.
She, however, solicited for the cooperation of all residents of the community towards the timely and successful completion of the project, seeking their continued support for the administration of Governor Sanwo-Olu.
Mr. Rotimi Olowo, representing Somolu Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA), who welcomed the team to the area, thanked Mr. Governor for his approval of the project, informing that all residents of the community would forever be grateful to the present administration for the laudable project in the Local Government Area.
Some of the locations inspected by the team include Fagbenro Street, Olaoshebikan Street, Olatunde Street, Ikija Street, Oluwalogbon Street, Balogun Link Road, Ayeipe Street, Ogunbadejo Street and Akanni Street, among others.
