LETI COMMENCES ANNUAL IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS 

The Law Enforcement Training Institute has commenced its annual in-service training for all Lagos State Law Enforcement officers at the LETI facility in PSSDC, Magodo.

The Chief Executive Officer/Head of the Training Institute, Dr. (Barr) Adegboyega Bajulaiye, in his address at the flag-off ceremony for the Y2021 training, advised officers from the Law Enforcement Agencies such as VIS, KAI, LASTMA and LNSC, to justify the huge investment of the State Government on their training and retraining by providing efficient and effective service to the people.

He reiterated the commitment of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu to ensuring Lagos is safe and secured as outlined in the Security and Governance pillar under the T.H.E.M.E.S. Agenda.

Barr. Bajulaiye also implored the officers to embrace the use of Body-Worn Camera (BWC) introduced by the State government, stressing that it would help them in the discharge of their duties and ultimately lead to efficient service delivery.

The CEO further enjoined the Officers to be courteous in their dealings with the people and strive to correct whatsoever wrong impression and perception the public may have about them regarding corruption and indiscipline.

Top State Government officials present at the flag-off ceremony include the Permanent Secretaries, Special Duties, Dr. Omobolaji Gaji; Ministry of Justice, Mrs. Titilayo Shitta-Bey; Parastatals Monitoring Office, Mr. Jimoh Yusuf; Establishments, Training and Pensions, Dr. Abiodun Onayele; Director-General of PSSDC, Dr. Senukon Ajose-Harrison; Vehicle Inspection Services, Engr. Akin George Fashola; KAI Marshall (Rtd) CP, (Mrs) Gbemisola Akinpelu and General Manager of LNSA, Prince (Dr) Ifalade Oyekan, among others.
