COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY CONDUCTS ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS FOR APPLICANTS
Over 800 applicants that applied for admission into Diploma and Certificate courses with Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET) took part in the entrance examination organised by the College at Yaba, Lagos.
The Acting Provost of the College, Mrs. Oyeronke Uthman-Izobo, said that the exercise was the next stage after the completion of the sale of forms for admission, which lasted over three months between April and July 2023.
She said only applicants that meet the set requirements for admission would be admitted into the College, stressing that LASCOHET will not compromise its educational standard of several decades.
According to her, the large number of applicants for admission into the College shows that LASCOHET has over the years consistently produced competent health workers that are positively contributing to quality health delivery in Lagos State.
She stated that the entrance examination cover English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge and Current Affairs for prospective students in Environmental Health, Community Health, Complementary Health Sciences, Medical Laboratory, Health Information Management, Morbid Sciences, Pharmacy Technician and Biomedical Technology.
While wishing the applicants success in the entrance examination, Mrs. Uthman-Izobo told the prospective students to have confidence in the College to conduct a transparent admission process that will be fair to all applicants based on their competencies and academic performances.
