FEMI GBAJABIAMILA GENERAL HOSPITAL BEGINS CT SCAN SERVICES
The Femi Gbajabiamila General Hospital, Iyun, Surulere, has announced the launch of its new CT Scan services, offering a 50% discount on all scans done between July 22 to August 2, 2024.
Dr. Olumide Sojinrin, Medical Director of Randle General Hospital, who also oversees the Femi Gbajabiamila General Hospital, Iyun, highlighted the significant advantages of having such a machine, stressing that it will help in improving patient care and treatment outcomes.
He also expressed gratitude to the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. The Medical Director, therefore, encouraged patients and community members to take advantage of the 50% discount promo, revealing that full payment for CT scan services would commence after the discount period.
Dr. Oluwasegun Olufade, a Consultant Family Physician at Femi Gbajabiamila General Hospital, provided insights into the workings of the new CT Scan. He explained that technology plays a crucial role in aiding doctors in diagnosing and treating various illnesses while also guiding them in determining appropriate treatment patterns and enabling precise medical care.
To ensure the optimal use of the new CT Scan, Dr. Olufade disclosed that a training programme is being conducted for radiographers and radiologists at the hospital.
