Declaring the workshop open, the Chairman of TESCOM, Mrs. Victoria Peregrino represented by the Commissioner I representing Ikorodu Division in the Commission, Mrs. Kafayat Ajenifuja charged the participants to understand smart techniques of teaching that will impact positively in the conducts and personal lives of students and by extension the society at large.

She noted that the workshop is tailored towards equipping the participants with the necessary smart skills and mindset to navigate and thrive in today’s classroom that will, in turn, prepare the students for a new world order.

Also speaking at the programme, the Commissioner II representing Ikeja Division at the Commission, Mr. Abiodun Bamgboye, admonished the participants to see the teaching profession as a noble profession which is constantly evolving, therefore they are expected to constantly equip themselves with new trends as they unfold.
