The Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON), Igando, has commenced the online sale of admission forms into the Department of Nursing for the Y2021 academic session.
A statement signed by the Provost of the College, Mrs. Olufunsho Orenuga, said that interested candidates who are at least 17 years old, with a minimum of five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics & Chemistry at not more than two sittings from the West Africa Senior Examination/National Examination Council (WASSCE/NECO) or English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry at one sitting from National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) are eligible to apply.
She urged interested candidates to log onto the College’s website: https://lascon.lagosstate.gov.ng to access the registration form and to use their personal e-mail and preferred password to complete the application process.
“From the dashboard, candidates with ATM Cards are to make payment in the sum of N15,200 only, through the online banking application. After the payment, the candidates’ status on the portal will be updated for the completion of the admission form” she said.
The Provost said all applicants must print out a Photocard in colour print for the entrance examination as no candidate will be allowed into the Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre without valid examination photocard.
Mrs. Orenuga also averred that the sale of forms will close on Friday, June 4, 2021, while the entrance examination comes up on Saturday, 26th June 2021 at the CBT Centre, Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo campus by 9:00 am, adding that applicants can check their results via the portal from Tuesday, 6th July 2021.
