The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has partnered with Q Dance Company to premiere the company’s latest Dance and Music Production titled ‘Re- Incarnation’ at the Glover Memorial Hall, Lagos, on Monday, May 2, 2022.
Speaking on the partnership, the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Pharm. (Mrs) Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, stated that the Ministry will use the event as a platform to project Lagos as a major destination for Entertainment, Arts and Culture in order to continuously attract local and international tourists.
According to her: “The event is also intended to be a medium that would expand the concept of tourism as a whole and engender a paradigm shift from conventional models of heritage-based cultural tourism to new models of creative tourism”.
The Commissioner noted that the production will further establish Lagos as a vibrant and innovative tourism destination, open new opportunities to diversify the economy and create jobs across multiple tourism segments, just as it offers the world access to the ingenuity and hospitality of Lagos residents.
The Premiere opens from 4pm to 9pm on Monday, 2nd of May, 2022, and attendance is strictly by invitation.
