The Hospital Transformation Support Initiative (HTSI) team has recently paid a working visit to Ebute Metta General Hospital (EBGH) for a comprehensive inspection and monitoring of the hospital facilities.
The team, led by Dr. Ademuyiwa Benjamin Eniayewun, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Health Service Commission (HSC), conducted a detailed assessment of the hospital’s facilities, services, and operations.
The Permanent Secretary commended the hospital’s leadership and staff for their significant achievements and ongoing efforts to deliver quality healthcare to the community.
Eniayewun stressed the importance of building on the existing foundation and outlined strategies for further improvement.
He emphasised the need to enhance the hospital’s aesthetic appeal, noting that a more welcoming environment contributes to a positive patient experience.
Eniayewun also suggested the need to reposition certain structures to optimise the layout and create a more professional ambiance.
The Permanent Secretary, however, reaffirmed the Health Service Commission’s commitment to supporting the continued growth and development of Ebute Metta General Hospital.
The visitors were received by the Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. (Mrs.) Folakemi Irewole-Ojo, along with members of the Hospital Management Committee (HMC), who provided a guided tour of the premises for the HSC team.
